Patriot Act

As with all great governmental actions, they must have a really long, almost unnecessary acronym.

Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001
Holy shit what an acronym.

So what does this Act do? Basically it gave Bush the already god given right to take away all your rights. But seriously, what were you going to do with them anyways, complain? Who is going to listen to you?

Since the Patriot Act was passed, Bush can finally check out what you are saying to your gf on aim, and finally get the chance to catch up on those books you were reading in the library. Immigrants don’t deserve rights anyways, now we can lock them up forever without a trial, which the taxpayers would’ve had to pay for.

The Financial Anti-Terrorism Act, or FAT Act, was folded into the Patriot Act to make it the FAT PATRIOT Act, in October 17, 2001. Nonetheless, the controversy behind it is appalling. Whats wrong with dumping all your civil liberties for your freedom, its what George Washington would have done, maybe.

They spelled it wrong, it only has one eye.
